Stress Release & Stress Relief Yoga Class

This yoga class focuses on the places where we tend to hold the most stress – our shoulders, neck and chest. We also hold stress in our hips, (often unbeknownst to us), so hip opening postures are included as well. While yoga, by its very nature helps reduce stress, this class emphasizes breathing techniques to calm the body and mind – diaphragmatic breathing and alternate nostril breathing – as well as repetitive sun salutations to ease you into your body and connect breath and movement.
